Back-UPS ES 500 which comm cable

I have a back-UPS ES 500 model: BE500C

I have cable 940-0127E Rj50-USB. Doesn't appear to be working. Not sure if this model uses USB or not or if I need a Rj-50 to DB9 cable. Anyone know what cable this needs?

got a 940-0128A cable. ups is communicating now w/ computer. Thank you for help.

The cable that ships with BE500C is the RJ45 to Serial, the part number of the cable is 940-0128 and this could have a letter at the end to denote the revision.

The cable that would work for BE500C is a Keyed-RJ45 to a DB9 (Serial) and the part number is 940-0128X. Where X denotes the revision of the cable i.e. A, B or C.
