This is what the blurb says but mine (Back-UPS BX950UI) is a nightmare this causing me more and more problems for me and my PC. our power supply isn't great but this box is for ever clicking and clicking and buzzing quite badly most of the time and i run very little off it just my PC and monitor. it has crashed my PC quite a few times and tonight twice how my PC hasn't been damaged i don't know. i bought it new in may from Amazon Spain and it has done this pretty much from new you can hear it clicking from the other room even with the TV on...

I am hoping  someone can tell me why this is happening! I have  Belkin Surgemaster 650VA and i never had any of these problems at all only when i changed to the APC have these problems started i only swapped when the batteries started dying in the Buffalo. And people said i should try a APC  well i am sorry  now.... I don't have the money to go swapping things out like this i am a pensioner on a poor pension...

whilst i ahve been writing this it has done it maybe 8 - 10 TIMES....

It would be nice if someone from APC / Schneider stood up to the plate....... And attempted to help maybe thats too much too ask nowadays..

Sorry to hear about the issues. Have you contacted local support for assistance? All UPS are sold with either a 2 or 3 year replacement warranty the local support would assist with if the unit is not functioning properly. Thanks for me but you don't have one anywhere near me at all (south of Jaen)and to parcel it anywhere here in Spain is an absolute fortune
