One of them has this firmware: 871.O2.I
The other one has firmware: 871.04.I
Is this the latest firmware or is there a newer version of this one en where to download and how to upgrade?
I've searched this website en the web but i can't find it.

I've read about a ftp server but i cannot log in to it.
So please help me out, tnx!

Hi David
That is quite a difference. Are you using Powerchute Personal edition?
If you are some screenshots may help to identify what's going on.
Which UPS is only giving 17 mins the older one with the replacement battery or the newer one?

Hello Matt,
first of all, thank you for your response.
Could you maybe tell me how it is possible that there are different firmware versions on both of them?

Hi
Whilst the firmware is not upgradeable, it is improved and updated by our engineering at various times and the new firmware is released to manufacturing.
It's just that after this it can't be updated by downloading newer firmware to the chip.
I imagine your two units are from different manufacturing periods and an update was made available to manufacturing within that time.
Regards
Matt

That would make sense indeed.
One is from 5 years ago the other one i bought recently.
I also bought another new APC replacement battery, but the time they would last, vary greatly.
One will keep 38 minutes while the other one will last for 17 minutes.
Could you help me out with this as well?
Thanks for your support!!
