Hello,
I bought a new APC battery (RBC124) for my BX1500G off Amazon last week. Installed them in the UPS and it's only giving me an estimated run time of 10 minutes.
The load on the UPS is currently only 84W, showing 9% load, yet only 10 minutes of run time on a new set of batteries. The battery graph on the website for this model shows I should be getting around 30-40 minutes at minimum at this load.
Moreover, I unplugged the UPS from the wall 20 minutes ago, it's been flashing 0 minutes for at least 10 minutes now and the UPS and server are still online.
I don't have a Windows computer so I can't run the power chute software, but did I get a bad set of batteries from Amazon, or is there an issue with my UPS?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi Aaron,
Your battery is likely good since it ran your load for at least 20 minutes. The UPS' runtime estimation is based on the old battery. PowerChute may have a way to indicate that the battery has been replaced. You can also load the UPS >30% and let it run on battery. That should calibrate the runtime estimate.
