BR1500GI - Electrical audible buzz-like noise

Hi,

I few days ago I bought a BR1500GI. I do have almost the same problem with the one mentioned here: http://forums.isxusergroups.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7462ᴦ.

When I connect the UPS to the outlet, I hear an electrical audible noise, something like a buzz (electrical kind of noise). This noise has a duration of a few seconds. Then stops for 1 sec, and starts again. Unfortunately, it nevers stops!

This happens even when the UPS is switched off and it does not depend on baterry status (empty or not, with or without).

The noise is very audible and terribly annoying and I am able to hear the noise to my bedroom, which is across of the room, I have my PCs and UPS. During the night I have to unplug the UPS fro mthe wall socket, so it remains silent.

The noise is getting louder when a power load connected to the UPS (e.g. a switch on my PC).

I tried out to connect the UPS to another wall socket in the house, but I receive the same noise. In addition, I got the UPS and tested to my office place (other building), and the noise remains.

BTW, I do have an other Back-UPS (RS1500) which is silent and I never had any problem.

What can I do with this problem?

In fact, the buzz noise comes even when the UPS is switched off (from on/off button) and connected to wall socket.

Any progress on this? I received my brand new BR1500GI replacement unit and it is making this sound as well.
