I've just got a BE650G2-UK and I'd like to set up email notifications for when it starts running on batteries. This is due to (thankfully rare) but intermittent issues with power tripping, so would be good to get notification should it occur and we're out.
Would I be thinking that the only way to do that with this particular UPS is with a powered up, connected PC running Powerchute Serial Shutdown?
I've spent many hours re-reading the manual, Googling, all to no avail, so hopefully someone can help.

Thanks Teken. Reading between the lines and thinking about it, the only way you can have notifications is with a plugged in and powered on PC. Otherwise I'd need a Smart UPS so I don't have to have it powered on all the time.
Instructions are very good and definitely helped setting up.
