My UPS malfunctioned as a long continuous beeping sound is heard when i turn on the switch. When i turn on the UPS, the LED will flicker once and the long continuous sound will be heard. I tried to plug all devices out from the UPS but still it has the same effect. I plugged it in another outlet for a powersource and still has the same effect. I plugged out the device as a standalone and still the same effect.

Do i need to service this to an authorized repair service center?

At this point, if it's not turning on at all, I would pursue either a Trade-UPS if you're looking at a larger UPS for your setup, or an outright new purchase from a retail store if you're looking at staying in the 500-600VA range. How old is the UPS?

Hello,

How old is the UPS? Is it possible the battery needs replacing? If you plug the UPS into the wall, turn it on, and then unplug the UPS from the wall, does it stay on, or just power off?

now its worse... it wont power up anymore=(
