Hi! I recently bought the above mentioned apc back ups. I never knew that this model does not include communication software. The main reason i bought a UPS was to autoshutdown my computer in case of a power failure. But without the software, i cannot configure the UPS.
How do i enable it to autoshutdown when the back up time being provided by the UPS is about to go off?

Check the white sticker on the back or bottom for the exact model number. It should still work with APC's software, but you'll want the exact model to make sure.
Powerchute personal edition is the software that should work with it, and it is available to download from the link below.

Also, often OS's have their own native shutdown options available in the case that it's not supported.
