I suggest you unplug your UPS's before all the PC's crash, if they haven't already. Andf get rid of the UPS's.

I bought one for myself and one for my friend's PC at work. Early this year the UPS started beeping in the early mornings; I thought it was a power outage. It happened occasionally. The next month my PC started rebooting. It took me a couple of weeks to realize it, because I wasn't paying much attention. But I didn't know what to do about it, and just let it go. Then it started rebooting as I was ON the PC, which got my attention - but I had no experience with anything like that and so didn't know what to do! I thought my PC was going bad. It never occurred to me that it was related to the UPS beeping! So I finally unplugged it all when the PC didn't recognize having a drive C, and a few weeks later bought a new Dell.

During the time I didn't have a PC my friend's PC at her job started rebooting! Eventually they got a technician to look at it and he told her the UPS had a SHORT and had ruined the company PC! That must be what happend to mine! What are the chances???? The CHANCES are that APC makes faulty equipment and then tries to rationalize it by giving everyone stupid tasks to do to trace down our problems!!!

Luckily my friend told me about it before I brought home my new Dell, so naturally I did not plug the UPS back in! But that doesn't make me feel less angry at APC or less guilty because I brought the UPS into her office...

The remark Il read about the "BE350R" being barely capably of handling a PC and monitor, blah blah blah is a poor excuse for poor equipment, because most people I think only use a PC and monitor. I would rather have mine hooked to a power strip than ever say anything nice about APC.

What do you have plugged into them. The BE350R's are only capable of 165W, which is BARELY enough to cover a barebones PC and Monitor setup. It's possible that they were tripped to overload and need to be reset.

Have you tried starting them on battery?
