BE 550G for Panasonic 50in Plasma/Cable Box/Denon Shouldn't this work?

I've got a BE 550G hooked up to my desktop.... Works great, we get two or three 1-2 minute blackout's a month.
If it's longer, it gives me time to shut down.
Thought it'd be great to put one on the cable box/plasma TV. Hate waiting for the channels to reload.
Never worked.
Recently bought another one, figuring I got a dud.
1st day out of box, we had a (less then a second) blackout. Everything reset.
Although, I didn't give it that long to charge up, I have to ask the question
Can a 550G be used for this application?
Do I need to mess with Voltage Sensitivity Adjustment?
Any suggestions? (Besides throwing even more money at it... lol)

Good day, The BE550G is not designed to support a plasma TV. How much power does the plasma TV consume? For home entertainment devices such as these you may want to look into the [Audio Video product line|http://www.apc.com/products/category.cfm?id=15].
