APC UPS ES 500 series continuous beep sound and flashing green light

hi i had a problem recently about my apc ups ES 500 series about 2days ago there was power outages in our place and suddenly my ups producing beeping sound continuously and the green light blinking even do there is nothing plug on it it keeps on beeping only when i turn it off it will stop i dont know what happen so can anybody can help out on this and if my ups can be fixed well its been 3yrs seen i bought the ups and i hope i can still use it im using a temporary normal transformer in my pc and i feel it my be in risk if my ups wont be fixed soon

Hi!Your UPS probably switched to On Battery operation since there was a power outage.

so how would i turn it back to normal? any ideas?

i already plug it into the main outlet then after i switch it on maybe around 5s to 10s it will start beeping continuously and the green led light keeps on blinking

The green LED should be steady and the beeping should stop once utility power is restored. You might want to check this:

Can you look up the part# of you UPS from the white sticker with the bar codes underneath?

Similar happened to mine. APC back-UPS ES series 500VA
Serial bar codes BE500U and JB451042781
