Hi,
We have a Back-UPS CS_500 with APC PowerChute Personal Edition 3.0
The UPS is configured to send "shutdown" to our pc 1 minute after power failure.
We want it to send "shutdown" to the PC (nearly) immediatly after power failure, but 1 minute is the minimum time in the pulldown menu.
Is there another way to configure to 5 seconds? Registry, other software version,...?
Reason : It takes a long time four our pc to shutdown. This way we'll have more battery power to complete the shutdown sequence.
Thanks in advance!
Thomas.

Hi Thomas,
You can use Microsoft's Native UPS option and then set the computer to gracefully shutdown based on battery charge percentage.
Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, the powerchute personal edition software is very basic and doesn't have a ton of options. The next step for software would require a Smart UPS. The only other option is windows native(shutdown service built into windows)
