Hello,
I am using APC Smart-UPS 1500 to backup my server. The device is less than 2 yrs old. Recently it has started to act little bit weird. The battery lights starts flashing after a power failure and together I am getting only 3 to 5 minutes back up time.
Plugged In Devices
# Dell Power Edge 2900 Server
# Dell LCD Monitor
If someone can support me in this it will be really grateful.
Thank you,
Naufz

What is your load on the UPS currently (viewable via the load LEDs on the left of the UPS or via our software/accessories)?
After the power outage is over and the UPS has charged for a few hours, does the issue resolve itself?
The flashing battery bar graph means that the runtime on the UPS is within two minutes of your "Low Battery Signal" time. This can be because of high load, power outage, old/bad battery, or a poorly calibrated UPS EEPROM. If you are getting 3-5 minutes of runtime that would definitely put you in range of this fault, even if you have the lowest Low Battery Signal setting set.
