APC Matrix 3000 Electronic Unit - Can you get replaced bords for the EU?

I have a Matrix 3000 UPS with one Smart Cell XR and one added Smart Cell. It was struck with a two wheeler while moving some equipment and then got a relay error after some sparks. I removed the Electronic Unit and found that one of the boards blew. The board is the one that has the serial port and batt comm port on it. I removed it from the EU and found part number 640-0601E, REV 12. Does anyone know where I can find one of these boards? I have attached 2 pictures of the board and the problem.

I have an extra control unit for an APC Matrix 3000 XR. Would this help you in getting yours up and running again? It is brand new still in the box. Attached is a picture of the device I have. Let me know if you are interested.

Hi, we have a Matrix 5000VA that when switched on, will only display "Menu" and none of the keys works and no output from the ups....pls what can we do to make the ups work again?

Along the same line with Clarkson's comment, APC has recently discontinued the SMARTCELL battery pack.

There are a few options via Coastal Business Machines for customers with SMARTCELL packs.

APC unfortunately doesnt sell these types of spare parts for our UPS's, but there is a company that is certified to repair and refurbish APC units. Their name is Coastal Business Machines (CBM), and you can find more info on them at www.cbmi.com. I believe they will send you a refurbed EU proactively and pay for your shipping ot get the defective unit back so they can repair it and pass it onto the next customer. They may also be willing to just sell you the spare part standalone, but not sure.

Hey Danny I have a APCC 640-0601-A REV-5. Here is a pic It looks exactly the same to me. I have an ebay store and I sell alot of vintage Industrial electronics. I just pulled it out of an air force computer we got at auction a long time ago.
