APC CS350 Replace battery light with new battery

Hi folks,

I have some problem with my APC CS 350.(BK350EI) sn:NB0643008777 It is a 5-6 years old unit worked fine. A week ago the Replace battery sign came up, the red light is flashing. I checked the battery it had 8V so it was bad. I bought a new one for it. Installed it and the red light is still blinking. (I have continuously on-Line light too)

Any Idea what could I do?

Peter,

A flashing replace battery indicator on the UPS means that the UPS is unable to detect a battery.  This could be caused by a bad or the UPS itself, unfortunately on your case it shows that the culprit is the unit already.
