APC Back-UPS XS 1400U doesn't automatically restart after power is restored
I have two APC Back-UPS UPS's, and they never automatically restart after power is restored once they've shut down. Even with half full batteries and the returned power has proper sinewave and voltage with no distortion, they just sit there off until I press the button.
I've checked the PowerChute software and settings, and there's nothing configurable for a automatic restart.

When was this UPS purchased? What is the serial number of this unit? When the system is connected to a computer running APC Power Chute Software please share the event & data logs for this system and upload the same here for review.
In the interim please perform the following test(s) and report back the results. While the computer is running APC PCPE / PCSS software remove AC Mains from the wall outlet.
Does the UPS beep and flash indicating the loss of AC Mains and running on battery only power? Is the computer still running? Does Power Chute Software detect this loss of input voltage (power)?
During this test what does Power Chute indicate as the active fault? Along with the battery voltage, runtime, and load?
Let the system run like this for at least three minutes. Once that time has elapsed reconnect AC Mains. Does the unit stop beeping and does this change in restored power is reflected in Power Chute?!?
