Hey!
I've a question related to a APC Back-UPS ES 700.
In the spec sheet of the product it says: "Output capacity: 700 VA / 405 Watts", so my question is: while using the power outlet as main source (not the battery) is the UPS limited to 405W of output to the PC? Or is this only valid when the UPS is using the battery?
I suppose it's the output while on battery, but I just want to make sure since I'm having some system instability issues with my GPU, and I've seen that sometimes people that use UPS say that they have found that connecting the PC to the power outlet directly solved their issues.
Thank you! 🙂

From what I have seen.
If you have a total load on all the battery backup outlet. The UPS will see it could not provide enough power when on battery. It will trigger a Overload condition. The surge only loads do not count on the 405 Watt limit. Just the maximum rating for the AC inputs rating.
Power Chute reports the total load on all the Battery Backed outlets not each individual backed outlet.

I would think. The 405 watts.
I know Power Chute tells me the load on the battery outlets and how close to the limit.
Not 100% here but I have seen reports of the UPS turning On the Overload LED with too large a load.

But is that 405 watts the limit, even when the UPS is using the power outlet as the power source?
This UPS doesn't provide info about the load on every power outlet on power chute.
