APC 1500: Battery Not Connect Even After Replacement
We have an APC 1500 we purchased a few years back. I had also purchased a replacement battery. Today, the beeping started with the flashing battery symbol. I thought it was the battery going back since it's been a few years. I popped in the new batter and I still get the same error. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Hi,
Try running a selftest to clear the error. If that does not clear the error, try performing a brain dead.
You did not list the model 1500 you have so I have attached links to documents that explain how to brain dead a Back-UPS and a link for instruction to brain dead a Smart-UPS.
