AP9640 not connecting to network, stuck in BM> prompt
After a power down of about 7 hours (for building maintenance) the UPS was not connecting to the network anymore through the AP9640 NMC. Connecting to it using the console USB resulted in an empty screen with a BM> prompt. The command "help" showed a list of available commands, among which "boot", but entering that command resulted in "command not found".
What seems to be wrong here and how can we fix it?

Hi Teken, thanks for your reaction. Other than reinstalling the NMC we tried all that.
The reset button was pressed. The green LED was off and after pressing the reset button remained off, the orange LED was on and after pressing the reset button turned off for a moment then turned on again (not blinking).
The configured IP address is not reachable. Attaching the network cable to a different patch panel port had no effect. We could'nt see any traffic in firewall & switch. Well I think reinstalling the NMC is the only option left, I will suggest that and try to get it done (the UPS is on a customer's site).
