AP5717 and Dell R630
So, I'm doing a little homelabbing. (Collective groan from the pro's, I'm sure.)
I have a Dell PowerEdge R630 server. I also bought an APC AP5717 19" rackmount KVM off eBay.
I found out that I apparently need a special communication cable that plugs into the yellow (serial?/parallel?) port on the back of the unit, which did NOT come with it. Where can I get such a cable? Can it be plugged directly into my server?
Looking around a bit, I also have to ask, do I need an intermediary piece of hardware, such as an AP5202? Seems like a bit much for ONE server.
