ACPSC2000 InRoom SC cooling unit.

I'm trying to set this is up in our server to work as a backup in case the main A/C goes out. I want to set it up to where if the server room temp gets to 75 degrees, this unit would turn on. I'm having trouble because unit stays on after setting the temp on it. At this time the server room is already at 70 degrees. Is there anything special that I need to do for it to turn off and not turn on until it has to.

The fan will always remain running in order to keep the sensor reading an accurate room temperature. The unit will also cool to a bit below the room temperature for the purposes of a hysteresis. However, if the unit is still cooling, try to make sure it is running in the "auto" mode. If it is and still doing this, try just the "cool" mode. The only other troubleshooting we can think of is trying a higher room temp, since it is possible the unit is seeing a higher room temp where it is located then where you are measuring.
