I've had this unit for a few years, and recently it had its first real test, in the form of a power outage. The computer remained on, until the battery ran out (I assume), and then it shut off.
This happened roughly a week ago. Since then, the UPS has randomly shut itself off about once a day. Its frustrating, because I'm never certain when its going to happen, and I'm not sure WHY it is happening.
There are no other signs of trouble from the UPS... certainly no beeping. Its relatively hidden from view, so I can't see any LED flashing.
Any suggestions?
Edit: And by 'shut itself off ', I mean that everything connected to the UPS loses power.

i am just throwing this out there but i have heard of a cat stepping n the power button or something like that. can we rule that out? it would be really helpful to see the LEDs also when it happens.
i cant say for sure whats happening, because it certainly isnt normal, but i cant really say much without knowing LEDs or anything else.
does it work correctly during a pull plug test? like plugging in a non critical load to the UPS and removing the AC power from the wall to see if it transfers to and from battery ok?
