Hi All,
Struggling to find an answer to this one, does the SCL500RMI1UC (APC Smart-UPS C Lithium Ion, Short Depth 500VA, 230V with SmartConnect) support the same USB protocol as the older SmartUPS and newer BackUPS Pro?
I need something I can plug into Windows 10 with a USB cable and it will just work with no extra software.
Also, it looks like a bit of an odd cable - USB type A plug both ends - does the UPS come with this cable?
Thanks,
Jonathan

Yes. When you connect the USB cable from the SCL to Windows 10 it will report found new hardware and load HID UPS Battery driver. For more information see Schneider Electric FAQ FA310907 "How to verify USB device drivers are loaded in Windows OS".
And, yes. The USB cable is USB A to USB A.
