Good day.
I have 2 Back-UPS units. Both are attached to my PC (Win 10-64) and I have PowerChute 3.2 installed. I realize that I can not have 2 sessions of PowerChute running, but can I select which Back-UPS that I am controlling?
BR1500G for my PC and peripherals. It works correctly and performs a shut-down at 5 min.
BR1000XS for my NAS. The BR1500 was getting too loaded with too short of a battery run time when I added a NAS.
The Back-UPS will not perform a shut down on the NAS and I am happy to let the NAS just shut-down when the battery is drained. It will run longer on the BR1000 than the PC on the BR1500. It is seldom that the line power is out for more than a few minutes but switching can take a second or so and produces spikes.
Cal

Hi,
I do not recommend having 2 Back-UPS connected to a single PC via USB when PowerChute Personal Edition is installed.
If you need to make changes to the BR1000 configuration you should disconnect the USB cable from the BR1500 and connect to the BR1000. Make the needed configuration changes and then disconnect the 1000 and reconnect the 1500. Leaving both Back-UPS connected could cause unexpected connection issue upon reboot of the PC.
