Hi - looking at:
http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA164737/
http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/content/?id=FA170679
I do not see an entry in the list in the second link above, for an SMT model with firmware ID 1015?
Am I looking for 15? for 21? for 17? for 10?
17 is the only number that matches any part of the firmware revision or the first 4 digits of the serial number.

Hello -
The most recent FW update for this unit is 3.5, however it has not yet been released for update via the Firmware Upgrade Wizard. You can however update it via the SmartConnect cloud. Once you have SmartConnect configured you would see the option to apply the upgrade from the SmartConnect portal.

Thank you for your reply Liam.
The unit in question is not currently and will not be cloud-managed, so any firmware updates will need to be done manually and internally.
I do not have a specific problem that I am trying to solve via firmware upgrade, I am merely doing a regular firmware update cycle per best practice for all systems.
As such I suppose I can wait until 3.5 is more formally released via the Wizard - is there any rough ETA for that?
Also, given my information above, what is the "ID number" that I should use in the future to look up firmware updates for this unit?
Thanks

The ID number you would want to use is 1015. I don't have any firm estimates for an updated Firmware Update Wizard with the 3.5 image, but if I had to hazard a guess I would say in the next few months.

Thank you again for the reply. Sorry to be pedantic/thick, yes I realize that my ID number is 1015, but I don't see any SMT entry in the table in the above link for 1015 - they are almost all two-digit numbers - is there an existing public firmware upgrade for my model in the table yet?

1015 is not listed in the FAQ because there is not a released standalone version yet, nor is it included with the Wizard. Once there is a new Wizard with a new batch of images they will all be updated in the FAQ.

Ok, now I get it. I was sort of expecting that was the case. Will wait for release via Wizard. Thank you again.
