Are there any utilities that can discover a network card using only the MAC Address?

Getting an arp cache from the router helps me. I open the list then do a search for 00c0.b7

Hi Natalie,
The only tool that we offer that does this is the Device IP Configuration Wizard. You must run on it on the same subnet as the management card though. It can find unconfigured cards or configured cards if you specify an IP range. You can also use the tool to put TCP/IP settings on the card or just to bring up a list and export them. For this to work properly though, you'll need to ensure that there is no firewall blocking the tool's access to the network.
You'll find the tool here if you filter Firmware/Software and select by Software Upgrades - Wizards and configurators -> http://www.apc.com/tools/download/index.cfm
The tool is referenced as part # SFDIPW502. The NMC firmware v6.0.6 release notes also provide a little information on this tool like compatibility. The release notes are here -> http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/PMAR-96PKCQ/PMAR-96PKCQ_R0_EN.zip

I use the utility but I have never been able to find an IP of an already configured card. Is there a way to change what subnet it is using? I work for a large company and several subnets that house the IP's.

One of the stipulations is that it can only find cards on the same subnet as computer that is running the tool. If they are on the subnet, then there may be an issue with a firewall blocking ports or even Java.
Also, you can review the options/resolution in this article -> http://www.apc.com/support/index?page=content&country=US〈=en&id=FA172398
The "issue" in that knowledge base is different but the resolution steps is how I'd proceed if you're on the same subnet as the cards and still having problems.
