PowerChute - Unable to connect to the Update Server

I'm using "PowerChute Network Shutdown 3.0.1 Build 2650" for ESXi (vMA).

If I try to Update it via web GUI, I get the error message "unable to connect to the Upadte Server".

Could somebody help me?

the new Version on teh APC.com is "v3.1.0 for VMware ESXi"

Yes, I can connect to http://bit.ly/IlhkeG from the server running PCNS3.1.

It contains the error below for every press on the "Update Now" button:

ERROR 937908325@qtp-2040491338-12 com.apcc.m11.components.AutoUpdate.SoftwareUpdateChecker_HTTPS - javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

During PCNS3.1 installation I selected the bundled java.

Hi,

I tested the connection and it is up. Check to see if you can connect to this address http://bit.ly/IlhkeG it should bring you to the PCNS download page.

As for the error log the log would be in the installation directory. If you installed to the default path it would be /opt/APC/PowerChute/group1/error.log
