Provide the following logs in their entirety minus any PI data you can delete / remove: Event, Data, UPS, Diagnostic

You may complete the following action items to help identify and narrow down possible root cause.

Cables: Disconnect all communications cables (USB, Serial, Ethernet) leading to the system and initiate a self test and report back the results.

If the problem is solved by doing so focus on this area such as PCSS, PCNS, SNMP, NMC.

If the problem is NMC related you may consider soft / hard booting the NMC. If soft booting doesn’t resolve the issue default the NMC to a factory state either via Web, CLI, Reset Pin.

If that doesn’t resolve the issue consider formatting the NMC by pressing and holding the reset pin for 20+ seconds or when the orange LED turns solid then blinks than release. The user settings and options will need to be defined again.

If the NMC is not on the latest firmware consider upgrading the same and report back the results. This step also helps to solve a possible firmware corruption by reloading the same.

Interim steps may be considered based on your environment and situation as listed below.

Default: Power down and disconnect all connected loads on the output. Using the LCD Menu -> Congratulations -> UPS -> Page 12 Default Settings -> Press OK to default the system to a factory state.

Manually initiate a self test and report back the results.

Brain Dead: Complete a Brain Dead Reset as outlined in this APC Resource Link:

https://www.apc.com/ca/en/faqs/FA156611/

Once complete manually initiate a self test and report back the results.
