good day. I am servicing a Symmetra LX UPS, which allows me to hot swap the battery packs. A PX of 160 appeared, as far as I could see, this task can only be performed with the equipment on standby.
Is that so? I have not been able to find in the manual that tells me otherwise. Those who have experience in this team can respond to me. Thanks for your response

Good Morning
Hope you are well.
The PX2 (160) was original designed to be hotswapable, however they released a field service builtin that reversed to no hot swappable. This decision really tanked the sales of the PX2 and PX3.
I have never had an issue swapping batteries whilst the unit (Px2) is online. The PX3 (250 / 500) this unit I will bypass. Its had its moments.
Hope this helps

Thanks for your response, it helps a lot.
Have a good week.
The question is knowing how to find out which model I have, whether it is the one that I can perform hot replacement or the model that does not allow it. According to the label, this equipment is 10 years old since its manufacture.
Thanks again.
