Hello
New to the forum.
I am trying to connect pcns to a vcenter appliance and I am able to authenticate with network credentials. I have it setup on vmware mgmt appliance (Linux vm) I am stumped on why? Can someone give me a clue as to what I am doing incorrectly?
Mike

Hi,
The user name and password entered must match a user name and password that can log into the vCenter Server. The user also needs root level permission to allow that user to power down vCenter Server and the hosts. See page 19 of Application Note 180 for assistance.

Hi,
Yes. If that is the only user that has root privileges.
