I have a smart ups 3000 and i replaced the batteries since the LED on the front said to replace them. After replacing them it seems that the red light has not gone off. I also cannot access the management page on the NIC but that is a different topic. If i run a self test on the battery will it shut any of my servers off if there is still a problem with the battery? Thanks.

Hi Kirk,
Initiating a selftest via the button on the front panel should not cause the load to turn off if those batteries you installed are fresh ones. You just need to run a test to clear the replace battery indicator.
