Does anybody knows if the sua1500rmi2u compatible with ap9604 or ap9604s?
Also what cable is needed to connect to UPS with the AP9604 device? Cable 940-0024?

Hi Jeroen,
Yes, you are correct on all accounts. Letter revisions of a cable just mean very minor changes, no change to pinout. You can use either.
And yes, this is a straight through serial cable as far as I know. i do not know if there any other specifics properties of the cable.

Hi,
SUA models will likely work with AP9604. AP9604S will not work and is only for use with APC Silcon 3 phase UPSs.
From the UPS's DB-9 serial port, you need 940-1000 APC serial cable to plug into the port on the AP9604 that says "To UPS." Then, you can use 940-0024 or 940-1524 on the advanced port on the AP9604 to connect serially to the UPS or any supported accessories you may connect, such as a UPS Network Management Card.

Hi thank you,
I was searching and found that there is a 940-1000A and 940-1000B. Is there a difference?
Is it right to say that there is no wiring difference between the two cables?
Is it right to say that the 940-1000 is a simple straight through cable?
Txs.
