I use PCNS v4.2 to shutdown the server when no power.
Could you help me:

2- How i can start up server when ups battery charged up to 50% ?
Best regards
Samer

Hi,
For your UPS with the firmware that is on the network card go to Configuration - Shutdown. There you will see End of Shutdown. You can set the percentage of runtime required before the UPS restores AC and you can set a return delay. The return delay is a group of set numbers that are selected using the dropdown menu.
Minimum Battery Capacity | The minimum battery capacity, as a percentage of full capacity, required in order for the UPS to end its sleep time (or turn back on when rebooted) and resume providing output power. |
Return Delay | Defines how long the UPS waits before it turns on after a shutdown that was caused by a power failure, after a scheduled shutdown, or after a shutdown initiated by a Control command. If the battery is depleted below the percentage configured as "Minimum Battery Capacity", the UPS first waits until the battery is recharged to that minimum capacity. |

Log into the AP9631, go to Configuration - Outlet Groups, select an outlet group and set the Power On Delay to 1800 seconds and click apply. Then do the same for the remaining outlet groups. The UPS will wait the 30-minute delay and then restore AC to the outlet groups.

Your UPS does not offer the ability to power on when battery is charged to 50%. It does offer the ability to power on when the UPS has x amount of runtime. Log into the AP9631, go to Configuration - Outlet Groups, select an outlet group, set Minimum Return Runtime. If you know what the available runtime is based on your load you can set the minimum return runtime to be 50% of that. Example, when the load switches to battery the available runtime is 60 minutes. Set the minimum return runtime to 1800 seconds. The UPS will wait until the available runtime is 30 minutes and then power on the outlet group when AC is restored.
