Yes as long as the server OS is supported. You can use [Powerchute Business Edition|http://www.apc.com/products/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=SFPCBE901] or [Powerchute Network Shutdown|http://www.apc.com/products/family/index.cfm?id=127] (with a Network Management Card) or use the [Native Serial Shutdown|http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2519] for Microsoft OS.
