Hi all,

The standard battery to the UPS APC Smart 1500 are two parallel connected 12Volts batteries with capacity of 17Ah each.
I need to extend the work on the batteries.
Can I connect to the UPS a batteries in place of the orginals, for example: 2x 50Ah ? Will the UPS cope with charging and longer work on the bigger batteries ?
Is it enough to just connect the larger batteries, charge to the full and then calibrat it or need I play with a complex configuration?
