Hello
Our client has several symmetra px in his data center. In that data center "mini black-outs" occurs frequently(1sec to 30sec), and after those mini "black-outs" a symmetra px shows this alert message "redundant intelligent module fault", nevertheless it´s a false alarm because the module works fine, what could be happening?

could be firmware related. are you able to check the raw status data from the powerview while it is in a fault state? nobody on the board here (from APC) is that familar with Symmetra PX units. for a quick response, you can try esupport@apcc.com or call them via phone support for your region.
i'd gather as much info as you can such as firmware, serial numbers, etc and let support know.
if anyone else knows anything different, please feel free to let us know.

You can do the following test to diagnose the problem ( but first make sure that during test the ups don't feed a critical load,an output corruption could happen ) :
test1:
turn off the ups input power breaker for a short time and turn on again.
1-dose the front display panel of the unit mention this fault?.
2-the redundant intelligent module contains many led that shows its status.during test dose a faulty led light up?
if 1 and 2 conditions occurs this mean the module is faulty.
to be more sure you can proceed to this test:
test2:
remove the main intelligent module and let the unit run on the redundant module.
turn off the input breaker for a while and turn on.
dose the ups condition goes to faulty one?.
the power module is turned off?
the output power is turned off?
if none of those condition are true this mean the redundant intelligent module is in good status.
Note:if you are receiving the faulty message on network management card and the intelligent module is in good condition, you should upgrade the (nmc) firmware.
