random beeps

i get random beeps from my APC BR1500 UPS
and the screen goes on and off randomly
also the "list function" button doesn't work
and the hold in function of the "alarm" button and the "list function" button are swapped
when the screen is off i can turn the UPS off
it's already past my local retailers warranty and it costs way too much to send it back to the USA to get a RMA
by the way the first one which i got from the local reseller exploded when there was a blackout
i got this one as a replacement and it ran fine for 4 months until this started happening

i brought it to the local shop today and found out it still got 5 days warranty from them lol
so they took it in and will try to fix it
and I live in Suriname, South America
I don't know which number to call since there is no official dealer here
and shipping from here to the US is about $150/lbs
wouldn't be worth it to ship it back since the ups itself only cost me $250 here

Call APC Then Ask Them If You Can Get A Shipping Lable Because You Can't Offord It
