Hi there, we have recently bought a new Smart UPS SRT 5000 (P/N: SRT5KXLI) that needs to be connected to an external batteries pack (P/N: SURT192XLBP).
the question is that whereas the batteries pack has 2 connectors the Smart UPS has only one so which of those 2 connectors should I connect to the Smart UPS?
Thanks

Hi Juan,
The new SRT units are not compatible with the older SURT battery packs. There is no cross compatibility regarding external battery packs between the SRT and SURT series. This is because of new battery features included in the SRT including enhanced battery reporting.

Hi,
The battery pack SKU is SRT192BP. The runtime chart can be found on the SRT5KXLI web page.

Hi Lester,
What is the exact SKU of your UPS? Also, when you upgraded the firmware of the UPS is the battery pack attached?

My question is up to how many battery packs can a Smart UPS SRT5000KXLI can support? Because i installed 2 battery packs already and on the third battery pack when I plugged the third battery pack it gives me an error of over voltage or something. Also if I update the firmware of UPS will it give the setting that i can install/mount more battery packs? Coz in the product manual i have read that it can support up to 10 battery packs.. Thank you sir..
Gerard
