Hi there
I'm wondering how should I configure the appropriate amperage for our SURT192XLBP external batteries pack connected to our SURTD5000XLI APC UPS.
I've set in the NMC website (through Configuration -> UPS General -> External Batteries and Total Battery capacity options) 4 batteries x 5 amps for each of them but I'm not sure this is the right capacity.
could you please help me on that?
Thanks

Hi,
Set the Battery field to the number of batteries and set the amperage field to zero and click apply.

Hi Juan,
When adding external battery packs, you only need to fill out the number of external batteries. You can leave the Total Battery Capacity section empty. There are certain scenarios when this would need to be filled out, but with the SURTD5000XLI with apc batteries, this can be left blank.
Thanks,
Caylin

Caylin
I've tried to keep the amperage field empty but the website is asking me for providing an input if the number of external batteries field contains any value.
any other idea?
Thanks
