Hi,
I am using PowerChute Network Shutdown 4.1 for VMware and found out, that the glibc version 2.5 used here is affected by this issue:
https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=18665
With version 2.23 this bug was resolved. When will this be available in your software?
I would also like to know, wether there are any plans to change to a newer version of cent os.
Currently you are using 5.11, which will be out of support by 3/31/2107.
Thank you!

Hi,
PCNS 4.0/4.1 Appliance have glibc-2.5-123.el5_11.1 installed. This is the latest available version on CentOS 5.11 per yum update.
glibc-2.5 is not affected by CVE-2015-7547 however we are testing to be sure and I will update this post once the testing is completed.
