We have a number of clients, where we need to change the SMTP port of Powerchute (Business Edition).
By default the POWERCHUTE sends the SMTP port 25, need to change SMTP port 587.
Is there any version of Powerchute setting or a fix?
thanks

As a workaround i used stunnel, works like a charm with gmail smtp servers, even example configuration is set to gmail. In powerchute You should set localhost as a server.

Hi,
we have multiple APC UPS units and would really like this option to specify detailed SMTP details. Hardly anybody use SMTP on port 25 nowaydays. Can you please let us know when this will be available?
Thanks

francois@icsconsulting.co.uk - are you looking for this on PCBE or Network Management Cards? AP9630/31 readily support this today as well as SSL/TLS SMTP authentication with the right firmware. I haven't heard any updates on PCBE having this but I can check if you can confirm that's what you're using today.

we have an upcoming release of 9.1 i believe but this will not be added. unfortunately, PCBE won't offer this in the very near future. the network management card does indeed support this today already though.
