Dear all.
I want to install PCNS for my ONLINE USV. There is Linux Ubuntu 12.4 LTS installed on all my servers.
Every time i would like to install pcns ill get the message on all of my systems :
" ./install.sh: 896: ./install.sh: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")
What can i do to fix it ?
Best wishes
Dennis

Hi Dennis,
Just for confirmation purposes is it the 12.04 server version of Ubuntu you have or the 12.04 desktop version? I'm assuming its the server version but I just would like to confirm. We only officially support the server version.
We had a similar issue like this before in the past with an Oracle VM. The KBase is FA174099. The same error was popping up and this was due to installing a 32 bit version on a 64 bit machine.
Did you download the the correct package for your system?
Instead of using the bundled JAVA, you can also use the system JAVA (providing you have it installed (minimum JAVA 7 update 45).
Regards,
B

Hello Dennis,
Did you install PCNS in the default directory?
Can you try either one of the following:
sudo bash install.sh
or
sudo ./install.sh

B
