Windows 2008 x64 Server crashes as soon as APC SUA1500 loses power.
I am using the serial cable and PCBE 8.01 software. This is a brand new install. The load in minimal. When I uninstalled the software and disconnected the serial cable it runs fine after the UPS loses power.....

I have not seen this before with the Power Chute Business Edition version 8.0.1. The PCBE version 8.0.1 does support Windows 2008 x64. I will be happy to help you to resolve your issue. Could you please let me know the Model number of the Server? How many lights are on at the left side of the UPS when the Server is running? How long does the UPS run the Server on battery after power failure? Is the Server attached directly to the UPS?
