I have a Smart UPS 1000XL (non USB) & a SUA24XLBP connected to my Win7 x64 machine with the Smart Signaling Serial Cable #940-0024 ...
... I have used the Power Chute B.E. v.9.1.0.xx Agent successfully, but was looking for more of a desktop / native monitoring type software app for this PC.
Can I use Power Chute P.E. v.3.0.2.with the Smart UPS 1000XL, as it looks to be a native app without having to use the web interface, as I do with PCBE Agent ?
... I tried to install PCPE v.3.0.2, but it could not / did not recognize the 1000XL UPS ...
