Where's PowerChute Server and Console?

I must be working to hard...

we just installed a new APC SMARTUPS 1500 and I'm trying to install PowerChute Business Edition that comes with it. The disk says version 8 for windows on it with a 2008 year stamped on it. according to the instructions in the getting started guide on the disk, I'm supposed to install the agent, server and console. But I can't seem to find anything by the Agent on the disk!? The autorun only gives the option to install the Agent for Windows. I explored the disk and can't find anything else to install on it. I googled around and couldn't find anything as far as downloads for console and server.

Am I missing something here? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I believe you only need the agent for a single UPS. The agent has a user interface to configure and monitor the UPS. The server and console are needed for configuring and monitoring multiple UPSes, and probably only comes with the 5 and 25 node editions.

Thank you very much for the info. If there are any APC peeps around here, I would really recommend adding this information to the included documentation on the disk, its quite misleading.

As a followup question, we actually have 2 servers connected to this UPS. Will the deluxe version you mentioned allow gracefull shutdown of both the servers once the UPS reaches a specified remainin run time?

APC PowerChute Business Edition Agent can help you monitor the UPS and perform graceful shutdown on your computer. The software that comes with your UPS offers a single node agent for our customers to use. In the event that the customer would like to have added features such as shutdown utilities for Siebel, MS Exchange etc and having a centralize management solution they would need to purchase either the 5 or 25-node version of PowerChute. Just like what Voidstar said, this program is called the PowerChute Business Edition Deluxe.

The Power Chute Business Edition Deluxe version which has got the three parts: Agent, Server and Console are used to monitor two or multiple Smart UPSs from a single console page. The Deluxe version will not shutdown two or multiple servers gracefully from a single Smart UPS unless you use the appropriate Smart Slot accessories.

Please view the below K-base document which explains how can you shutdown gracefully two or multiple servers with PowerChute software when using one Smart-UPS in the event of power failure.

In addition to what Techie had said even if it is not a Deluxe version of PCBE you can still perform graceful shutdown on your servers provided that you have what do we call as interface expanders attached to your UPS.

Here are the different expanders that we have:
