I REFUSE TO BE HELD HOSTAGE FOR ACCESS TO MY BOUGHT AND PAID FOR PRIVATELY OWNED UPS.

I assume your question is rhetorical as it’s obvious there isn’t a LCD screen on this specific unit. You have limited access & control via APC PCSS software.

The remaining access and features are tied to APC Smart Connect Cloud Portal Service. 🤦‍♂️🤢

If the hardware had a slot in the rear of the unit for the NMC (Network Management Card) you wouldn’t even need the APC Smart Connect! 

Your choices are sell the unit, purchase the Smart Connect Plan, or forego any additional upgrades & access.

Purchase a unit NOT tied to anyone’s silly cloud! ☝️
