Where can I download older versions of Powerchute?

Good afternoon.

I am trying to install Powerchute onto a Windows Server 2000 machine but can only find the version 9 download link on the APC site, which I believe isn't supported (and won't successfully install).
Does anyone know where I can source the slightly older (Server 2000 compatible) versions of Powerchute to work with my Smart UPS 1500I?

Alas, one of my older servers is still running Win2K and I am in need of a copy of powerchute business edition v8.0.1.

Can anyone provide me with a valid link?

i did some research and the last version that appears to have windows 2000 listed as compatible was v8.0.1. I will private message you with a link to download 8.0.1

Chris,

The last version of PCBE we officially support with Win 2000 is PCBE 8.0.1 and that version is only compatible with Smart-UPS SU, SUA and Matrix UPS. What model UPS will you be connecting the Win 2000 system to?

Chris,

Back-UPS BX models are not compatible with PowerChute Business Edition. I suggest trying APCUPSD for monitoring software. I have never tested on Windows 2000 but suspect it would work. They offer a bin file so it is fairly straight forward to install.

If the newer release will not work they do also offer older version on their site.

Is it worthwhile to buy APC Back-UPS Pro 1500VA for a Windows 2000 server? I would like to use the Powerchute software to trigger shutdown on the Windows 2000 Server. Do you know where to download Powerchute (APC Back-UPS 1500VA) for Win2K Server?

This is a really old thread, but I'm hoping it's my best chance at help.

I recently got a UPS for home use, and want to install PowerChute Personal Edition, but the available versions aren't compatible with my Windows Home Server.  PowerChute Personal Edition 3.1.0 won't install and shows an error it's not compatible.  PowerChute Serial Shutdown won't install either, giving an error that it's a 64-bit application and the operating system on my home server is 32-bit.

I'm hoping there's an older version that will work.
