In Summary you want to try and keep the room temperature between 15 and 25 C.

Adjust the sensitivity of your ups to low if the load allows (this will prevent the UPS going to battery as often)

Avoid deep discharges of the battery, so if possible during a lengthy power outage turn off the load safely, rather than running the battery down.

If storing the battery for any time, give it regular charges.
