I have downloaded the logs from my Symmetra. What application do I need to view the waveform (.WFM) files?
I have attached an example.

Hi again,
I just checked with the technical support leader for this product. He explained to me that these are only intended for Schneider Electric/APC use typically but the user can view them through the UPS display.
If you wanted them in a readable format outside of the display, he said you could request that through our 3 phase technical support so I assume they can convert them for you. It sounds like they use some type of specific/internal utility to read the data and that is why you can't find something public to do it that works.

What model Symmetra is this in relation to? I didn't think this is something any APC UPS would provide to you but I asked someone and our larger UPSs, like Symmetra PX 250/500kVA devices may provide that. Though, it is only accessible typically by a field service engineer. I am not sure how they open them. I thought it might be something provided by a Fluke Oscilliscope or similar (which would likely provide a program to open it in ).
Long story short, did technical support or someone tell you to retreive these files..?

The system is a Symmetra PX 500kW, model number 0GSY10F500KD.
The waveform (.wfm) files are downloaded to a thumb drive automatically when the user downloads the logs from the system. This is intended as such by the manufacturer. The procedure appears in the manuals provided with the system.
We have had several casualties in the system, and the Schneider field service representative has downloaded (and subsequently deleted) the files on the system. We were presented the field service files yesterday when Schneider was on-site performing a casualty-driven inspection of the system. The field-service files also contain waveform files as part of the HTML package when the files are downloaded. The links for any AC waveforms are directed to .wfm extension files. There is no embedded viewer with the download so the files are essentially worthless unless I can get a plugin for a browser or other graphics program, or a standalone application to view the files with.
An odd part of this is that all of the battery waveform files are in .png format, which is a readily viewable file format on virtually any computer platform.
I have tried Tektronix, Fluke, and Agilent applications. None of those applications are able to parse the .wfm files into a graphical format.
I have been in telephone contact with a number of people at Schneider but instead of answers, I get more questions.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.
