Hi,
We have installed 2 units of SUVTP30KH4B4S. We also ordered the SUVTOPT009S Parallel Communication Kit & SUVTOPT010 Parallel Maintenance Bypass Kit intending to configure the 2 UPS in parallel. However, as we could not figure out the customised (APC recommended vendor) Maintenance Bypass Panel, gave up on the idea of using the 2 UPS in parallel. So therefore we have the Parallel Communication Kit installed in both UPS but not connected the supplied cables.
Problem is, one of the UPS suddenly started showing an error after several months of operation:
"A parallel bus communication fault exists on cable 2"
This shows on the UPS LCD display as well as the Event Log which is attached. There is no error on the other UPS which still has the Parallel Communication Kit installed but not used/connected. UPS configuration is also attached.
1. We have powered off and restarted the UPS. No luck.
2. We have removed the Parallel Communication Kit from this UPS after powering down completely and disconnecting all input sources. No luck.
What could be the source of this error?
Appreciate any inputs.
Rajan
